Mustafa Kemal (Ataturk) and the Modernization of Turkey

To start off Ataturk was the man who modernized turkey. He wanted his people to stop being secular. For instance he made it that his people would be more european and did not want them to wear their garments and their fez. He wanted them to wear regular clothes such as boots, shoes, trousers, shirt, tie, jacket, waistcoat, and to to wear a 'HAT'.
